All Lives Matter Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

All Lives Matter

Where is the love?
What has happened to mankind?
The action defines terror in these times
I hear people keep saying, 'black lives matter'
If we were equal as people, you'd know, 'all lives matter'
There's no sign of peace, only violence and crime
I mustn't continue to feel like my life is on the line
The world is so cruel
It's used only as fuel
Generating needless hate
How much can we take?
Soceity suffers heartache
Why shall we let it break?
Why don't we learn to embrace
The differences of love or in each and every race?
Or are we so drunk in hate that it prevents us?
Greed is a form when you see the mind lust
After all that isn't right
The world will turn on me, Only in god do i trust
We can't live like this no longer
Let's bond and grow more stronger
If only we come together with a better understanding
We'll find our foot in a universe that continues expanding
