All Roads Empty Poem by kalpana shah

All Roads Empty

Forgotten is the lane
Where i had lost my way
I left the crossroad
Where i stood once
Soon after you left
Memories started visiting
They stood silent
Listening to your sound
When found unheard
They too left
- All roads empty

all roads empty is a poem which touches the sensitive heart that understands the meaning of a vacuum, an emptiness and a nothingness, though it is a poem of pessimism yet this promises a lot of optimism about the intensity and sensitiveness of the poet, , nice imagination, , though very poignant, , thanx
