All's Beauty And Comedy
I believed I could create a Light Ship
two electrons in my mind to buzz.
The Light Ship would be in the shape
of an Argonaut shell
so that everybody would know
that it came from Earth, our water planet.
And the energy of doing that
would kill my mind.
I would walk around
- a useful person -
telling everyone what it's like
The Light Ship was as expansive as
The favoured ones would leave in it for galaxies
As sanity slowly claimed me I
trailed it behind me
like a lost balloon.
