All She Wanted To Do
She wanted to ask him for something
But it was something she could not do
She wanted to cry on his shoulder
And wanted him to cry on hers too…
That was really all she wanted to do
But he had no time to cry
And she had no right to.
And when she had to cry
She cried alone
And then let him see her laughing
Her laughter appeared more beautiful
And her beauty was all he knew.
