All So Blue Poem by Barry Blander

All So Blue

When you told me
You were going away
I got down on my knees
And begged you to stay

Every face I see on the street
Reminds me of yours
Every trace of perfume so sweet
Makes me think of you
And the joy that was once ours

I look and look
But there's no place I can hide
Ever since that day
When you left my side
You whispered your kisses were true
But, all the time
Well, I guess you know you lied

Tell me, Angel
Is there anything, anything
I can do
That will make you
Want to once again wear my ring
And end these tears,
All so blue...
