All That Is Left And Remains

I gave my dreams away
with promises I heard you say
gave you my hopes longing for today
for you to give me back yesterday

I wait for each darkness of the night
just to let go of the light
and hold in my hands the tear stains
of all that is left and remains
and the memories now that stay
