All That Is Left Are Memories Poem by Ronell Warren Alman

All That Is Left Are Memories

Rating: 4.9

All that is left are memories
When a loved one sadly passes on
One never really gets over the loss
But, you must be strong
Never forget what your mother taught you
She always wanted you to do your best
Just carry on with your mission
And reach for excellence

Sweet, sorrowful, and powerful, the loss of anyone important leaves a hole in the soul, but what this poem teaches is that hole can be filled with what that person has given us, that we live for them to do our best. A great poem, well chosen as poem of the day. Thank YOU!
