All This Time Poem by joses tirtabudi

All This Time

After all this time, and that's all you can say?
Guess it was always going to end this way.
Just wish I could say it was okay.
-
All this time, trying my best
But I should've known it'd never impress
Your royal stuck-up Highness.
-
All this time and it's like a waste
So many happy memories with a bitter aftertaste.
Seal them and bury them six-foot in a lead case.
-
So long, hoping against all
Watching as the dream tower falls
And the mighty men roar.
-
All this time - what did I do wrong?
What did I, to deserve a heartbreak song?
But it's okay, because I'm still marching on.
