All this time
I never knew
What went on
Between me and you
And all this time
I could never see
Just how blind
Our worlds could be

And all this time
Is such a waste
If I can't see
Your pretty face
And all this time
Won't matter now
It's all a matter
Of why and how

Why did you leave
I need you here with me
Did you find
What you were looking for, my dear?
As the angels dry your tears

I couldn't really tell
The difference from this earth
And Hell

For my words would overcome me
And I wouldn't be as meek
As I had claimed
