What a special day we had
It was just the other day
So nimble and so charming
And we plan to stay that way
It’s just too bad the talent scout
Hadn’t been there to watch us move
Talent seeped from our very pores
Why, I think we found our groove
We can really swing our hips
With the very best of them
Our grass skirts a’wavin’ furiously
For flair we’re filled to the brim
Lei’s were ‘round our necks
Our arms were moving just right
Everyone would be so jealous
For we were such a happy sight
Drinks were poured afterward
A Hawaiian punch I think it was
We were so grateful
For this was a special cause
So if you ever get the opportunity
To do the hula dance
Be sure and step right up
You don’t want to miss the chance!
Marilyn Nice snapshot. In this case your scouting report is all we needed. A home run is a home run, anywhere.
