Alone Poem by Sanjukta Nag

Alone

Rating: 4.0

And there I was standing alone
On the surf
Of a lonely beach unknown.
Beneath an endless mocking sky
Who has stars or moon for his night
Here everyday I die and try
To wipe you out from my sight.
Now nothing I am
But a betrayed thing,
With nowhere to go
No people to cling,
Forgetting still day by day
That I ever was a human being.
So, there I was standing alone
Just trying to breathe on my own.

Betrayed! ! But, you still have hope to move on with your dreams. Nice piece.
