Alone Poem by Kate McLaughlin

Alone

a lonely night
sitting all alone
no one to call
or even to pick up the phone

a silent tear
rolling down her face
a lonely dove
her heart had no pace

a hard blade
laid next to her arm
for the next thing she knew
she was causing herself harm

so this is what she did
when she got home from school
she cried for an hour
and committed suicide for you
