Alone - Poem by Matt Mondschein

You cannot solve my problems
You cannot ease my pain
You will never be my savior
Though you try and try again

I need to be alone now
So I may fix this mess
I'ts not that I don't like you
Though right now I need you less

There's not much that you can do
Except be here, should I fall
But please don't try and fix me
With a visit or a call

In time I'm sure this will pass
And I'll feel whole again
But I need to conquer this problem
So I can be happy with who I am

    another definite truth Matt
You are responsible for your own salvation but its good to have a friend you can rely on to be honest with you (Report) Reply

Good poem sometimes when we get upset we just want some time for ourselves to think everything through. (Report) Reply

Very nice poem. I have those problems too, in reality, the only person who can fix your problems is yourself. Nicely said! thanks for sharing (Report) Reply
