Lovely poem. i composed full poem on this fidn some excerpts.....10

You need to ask one question
    And clearly mention
    With one voice
That you should stand with words to promise

    Compare with no other
That shall only make you to bother
    Add to worries
    And carry no further

    Best way is to forget
    About whole world and let
    Your views prevail
And take you further without fail (Report) Reply

    Alone, all alone
    Nobody, but nobody
Can make it out here alone......... So true, we all need each other. So touching. Thanks Madam Maya. (Report) Reply

    I hate to correct you
But I feel like I should
    Living out here alone
    You say no one could

    But I can, I will,
    I'll keep living on still.
I'm used to it, it's fine
    I'll never resign.

Being alone is what I accept.
That doesn't mean that I am inept.
Trust me, don't worry, the damage is done.
    It's a never-ending battle that I've already won

Being alone doesn't make me sore
I can definitely take it. Throw at me more.
Being alone has no lose or gain.
It'd ok. I'm used to the pain.

    Yes, I'm alone, all alone
But you won't hear me cry or moan.
But I can and I will make it out here alone. (Report) Reply

    Where water is not thirsty
And bread loaf is not stone I think I can find such a place only in poetry
I felt like loneliness was a disease only i suffer but today i know well that many do. It is not contagious like the smile we always wear to conceal the single sadness within of being alone. (Report) Reply

This poem brings mixed emotions that travel miles but gives me a reason that love isnt absurd. (Report) Reply

Touching words! Reminds me of those words again, “nobody, i say nobody can make it out of here alone.“ to get to our promised-land, we need a pinch of of the spiritual- where mortal hands can‘t reach.

Amazing poetry... :) It is true with all the wrong ways we are trying to find happiness, we are only going more away from it. And the glory of the world is lost to the extent that even if one person re-finds the evaded self; it will become very difficult for him/her to live his/her freedom in this falsely netted surrounding.Till the one is accompanied or guided by another presence. It is true what they say about poets being closer to existence. You are one of the truest poetess, Maya Angelou. An inspiration.! (Report) Reply

Really touched my heart. We all need someone
in our lives. Life can slowly wither away without
love in our lives. Everyone wants to be needed
in some way or the other. Very thoughtful write. (Report) Reply

    That is the truth...
Nobody can survive alone in this world,
We need each other (Report) Reply

There! little girl; don't cry!

And your play-house, too,
Are things of the long ago;
