Alone Poem by Asser Mattar

Alone

Alone

You watch them fall

One by One

Like Autumn leaves

Alone

You still stand

They come and go

And you don't move

Alone

Your one-man-show

On a dark cold stage

You're the only spectator

Alone

You play your game

With your own rules

Against nobody, but you still lose

Alone

In the sun or the rain

With the same old pain

on the one-way train

Alone

As you were born

As was your life

As you will fall

Alone
