Alone Poem by Isaiah Solis

All alone in the darkest part of my heart
I have been here for to long
I soon realize no-one is going to come
Not a single sound nothing but my thoughts
I cannot see for there is no light
I search far and wide but there is no exit
Days, months, maybe even years have washed by
I've lost track of myself within this loneliness
Is there no-one who can reach my heart and accompany my soul
To walk alone forever with nothing but myself
Slowly i start to lose all sense of reality
Insanity close by i can feel it creeping
Am i crazy to not know why i am alone
Is it just my fate to live in such seclusion
I am unable to remember the last time i saw anything besides darkness
Finally i realize there is no end to my loneliness
I am a fool to think i could escape the darkness in my heart
I am trapped here for all eternity till death do i part
