Alone Again Poem by Robert Page

Alone Again

You attacked me,
left me wounded.

Inside more than out.

You hit me,
whilst i was down.

Smashed my dignity.

I fought back,
with my own attack.

Poetry.

Everyone left me,
now I'm all alone.

Alone but free.

Free of the prison,
of other people's thoughts.

Of me.
