Alone, Always Alone Poem by Sofia May

Alone, Always Alone

Rating: 2.5

Alone,
Always alone.
No one cares,
No one ever will.
They don't see you breaking,
They never do.
Who could understand?
Who would try?
Nobody would.
Nothing matters now.
Alone,
Always alone.
But then you came.
You brightened my day.
You cared and saw me breaking.
You fixed the wounds
You understood.
But then you had to tear me apart again.
Now I really am alone.
Always alone.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem is about fake friends. Those people who come to you and look understanding just to tear you down. And that's the worst kind of pain you can ever feel. When you put all your faith and trust in one person just to be let down. When your heart really does hurt. And when your happy and then they walk into the room and you start to feel yourself breaking. You start to fade. And when people ask you what's wrong you blame it on lack of sleep because it you don't say it out loud it might seem as if its not true. Bit it is true. It always is.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Just be you, be sweet, be kind, you will win hearts, you are glowing, they will wonder why they love you. Try it, love never fails. Who don't recognize is not worth of your loving, but then again, are they?
