Zhi Bai Peng

alone and adrift

everythings more scarey when youre
alone and adrift
i'm not a sunken ship

Inertia and widened with fear
Frustration unceasing
Desire always so stubborn

Passion in the wilderness
Is useless, raging at all that has happened
Let go of the past and embrace today

As empty as it is
Sick of waiting for things
To come into being where are they?

And are they even worth the wait?
What is important?
The pursuit of wisdom?

When biting Boreas, fell and doure,
Sharp shivers thro' the leafless bow'r;
When Phoebus gies a short-liv'd glow'r,
