Alone I Sit In A Crowded Room

Alone I sit in a crowded room
Self-pity is what I do all day long.
Crying inside for the wrong
Pretending to be every strong
If only they knew
I am not part of the world they belong
Alone I sit in a crowded room
Reminiscing on the scars I got for so long.
Wishing for a new song
All year long
Alone I sit in a crowded room.

A beautiful poem that remains unseen and without comments. But a good poem is a good poem, period.

If I had not visited my Manage Comments page, I would have missed your beautiful poem. Unfortunately you get credit only for feedback and rating by readers. Whilst one can have no dispute with this, it is felt that there should be other way also to rate poems. Also, feedback can be had in many ways, deserved or not. But there is no doubt PH is an excellent forum for budding poets.
