Shame is what you're going to get when you're alone in love,
Even if you think they'll love you back, or supposingly they were.

Alone in love and loving every little bit,
Saying they love you but they really don't mean it.

You think you're in love and you believe everything they say,
You try to love them in each and every way.

Alone in love hurts when you know that it's true,
When the only person in love the whole time was you.

It gets you lost and you can't find your way home,
But it hurts even more when you're in love alone.
