Alone in sadness;
Alone in grief;
Alone in suffering;
Alone in pain;
Alone in problems;
Alone in strife;
Alone in rejoicings;
Alone in even joy;
Alone in life,
And every achievement;
But in all the solitude,
Just one person is always with us-
The Holy Spirit and the
One, True, Living God!
He consoles the bereaved;
He gives solace to the wounded hearts;
He blesses the lives of all who pray unto Him;
He cares for the homeless and the orphans;
He tends to our every need;
He goads us to do the right things on earth;
He watches us and guides us;
He cautions us when we go astray;
He punishes us if need arises;
He wishes our welfare and that of our soul;
He forsakes not, nor abandons;
He loves each one of us, more than we ever deserve,
He sent His only son, Jesus Christ,
To be born as the ’Lamb of God’ and
To shed blood on the cross;
To emancipate humankind from punishment by hell,
And make fit for a life Everlasting in Heaven,
As any sin is forgiven,
If only we repent.
