Alone She Dances (Version 2) Poem by Eugene Michaels

Alone She Dances (Version 2)

Alone she dances through this desert
In search of purpose in this place
The slotted canyons echo entice
To ride this river wrapped in lace

The hoodoo ghosts will hide their secret
And drifting dunes will bear no name
Golden circles cast from promise
Blackbirds scry these paths that die
