Hm. Nes (April 11,1960 / Plainview, Texas)
Always
Always
in the back of my mind
the same song is playing:
'Will She Reach For Me? '
or just glide past
as I deserve,
as I myself have so
often done
to her.
that's the song,
a sad song for sure,
but it's the song
that is Always
playing in my head,
in my mind,
in the back somewhere;
and so
it's no surprise that
I feel
this,
tenseness
when she's around-
Always.
I hope the song
will change
eventually,
like most songs do,
as one song leads to another
and then another
and another
and so on,
often days going by
before
the same song plays
again.
but this song- It
Never
Ends!
it just keeps on
and keeps
on
playing.
she and her song
are all I hear
all I
ever
hear
or know
or have
Always.
all ways.
please,
can't we make it
stop?
