Always Me Poem by Moth Harris

Always Me

I lean against the wall and seem to fade away.
I don't want you to go, I'd like it if you'd stay.
Time stands still as I shut my eyes, we disappear,
Only from each others sight, wishing you were here.

As time breaks us down, I promise to be strong.
I've been here all along and this is where I'm gonna stay.
Time won't take me away, you just wait and see,
Because one day you'll realize, it was always me.
