Am Done Wishing Poem by Dickens Joseph Sawo

Am Done Wishing

If wishes were horses,
I think I could be a boss
Am done wishing,

Wishing if you were here with me,
Wishing if I was kissing you,
Wishing I was holding you,
Please hold on
Am done wishing,

Wishing if we were together,
Wishing my life could change,
I want to let you know,
That now
Am done wishing,

Am done wishing
If, If, If, If,
If wishes are horses
Then am at a loss,
The question we both ask,
Why are you not here with me,
We keep lying to ourselves,
With if and I wish
Am done wishing,

I wish, If and I wish
Were banned from the vocabulary,
Because it does not do us good,
Thats why,
Am done wishing.
