' ' ' ' Amalfitan Memories(Tankas)

Rating: 2.8

Kissed me in a flash
of lightning...storm breaks in heart.
Such love is...revealed.
Naked bodies shivering
with the fear of our delight.

*******

Caught upon a hook
our shadows hang on the wall
like forgotten clothes
us still now...unmoved...quite as
two old statues kissing.

*******

Wearing nothing but
little flower in your hair
that had stowed away
as you passed by in beauty
flower pleased to adorn you.

*******

Hibiscus...bloom...gone
all in the same day...each day
bloom again in new way.
Moon too crumbles exhausted
makes again its own beauty.

********

New morning glories
greeting us like old lovers
just as if they were
the morning glories that we
loved to see so much last year.
