Amanita Muscaria Poem by Guy-Paul Mitchell-Dwelly

Amanita Muscaria

Rating: 5.0

Amanita Muscaria

The Green Man strains to the winter call
As Summer memories surrender to Fall
A merry dance of frost and rain
As Jack scrawls upon my window pane
In the woods without a sound
Sprouts a bright red tunic all puffed and proud
With big white buttons and scarlet cap
A play for Muscaria the country chap
But night crawlers heed his generous pose
For once on stage his hands will close
