Jhorher raate hariye jaoa
amar halud pakhi tui,
ore amar pran sajani-
amay dishne faki tui.
kenoi ba tui kaache eli
ei montare tui loote nili,
keno tobe jhorher raate
hariye geli tui?
bol na re tui halud pakhi
bol na amay tui.
torei sudhu khuje berhai
virher maajhe ekla je aaj
bondhu priya pran shajani -
amar halud pakhi tui.
aalto kore chumu khabo
aador kore jorhiye nebo
rakhbo tore buker maajhe
pakhi ayna fire tui.
