Ambivalence Poem by Mikel Calcagno

Ambivalence

Rating: 4.5

She met a razor blade with an ambiguous look in her eyes
She amorously succumbed her every thought as it catered itself to her pain
Each scar she made cut with an artful dexterity
The monument she created douse in her pain
The very line she conveyed that formed itself through the severity of her own schizophrenic disdain

Her self-destructive intentions catered to all her pain
Every slanderizing word she embelleshed upon makes her hold her head down in disdain
Time ticks away her last few moments
Is there any vein she's left uncut
Running out of rope and the way to climb back up is unsung
I can't stand to see her fall into the abysmal levels of pain
It BREAKS me to know she cuts herself cuz she feels it's her ONLY way out...
