Ame Agari - Poem by Sheri Walters

with eyes closed and still
face upturned to the sky
cool, serene rains wash over me

whispering droplets flow
and cascade through my soul
purging, absolving, cleansing

washing away anguish and fear
replenishing faith and reverie
embrace the beauty of the rain
