Amidst Activity Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Amidst Activity

Finally, moments stolen quietly, a place to rest and
get away from the world.

An aspiration not too well delineated, because I'm
on the tenth floor of city hall, right in the midst
of horrendous activity.

Whatever peaceful moments can be grasped, helps
interiorly, my soul to rest.
