Among The Smiles Poem by Sandra Osborne

Among The Smiles

Rating: 2.8

Sometimes I wonder,
When I kiss you,
When I'm near you,
Is peace real?
Are all the feelings of my heart
Just transit sunshine
That must always turns to rain?

Sometimes it's easy,
To believe in you,
To know you love me,
To dream...

Just so sad that
We live in a world,
Where money means more than life.
And old people die in the cold.
And no one knows anyone
Who is not on T.V.

So, somehow, we will
Always be slaves.
Here, among the smiles.
