Through the winter my heart grew cold
Since feeling it break I didn’t feel at all bold
The clouds hovered over me and blocked any light
The ground rose above me so I couldn’t take flight
With the passing of the seasons
I see the days growing longer
I know not for what reasons
But I feel the nights getting warmer
And I feel my heart begin to murmur
As it melts away from heartache
There’s a feeling that expands
I feel it as it rushes, life!
Flowing even to the tips of my hands
And in this breath I heave a sigh
Of past love to which I must say goodbye
I will always feel it in my life
I shall never forget such pain and strife
But more than this I feel a change
More than this I shall arrange
More than this it is the start
Today, my love, I had a change of heart
