An Act Of Nature Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

An Act Of Nature

By an Act of Nature, I came into this Life,
Wanted I was, ~ I know,
I intend to Live my Life to the full,
Until it is time to go,

‘Be True to Yourself’ ~ I’ve been told,
‘Have Trust, and Faith’, and more,
‘Be wanted by others’, ‘Don’t stay in the cold’,
‘Be friends with the neighbours next door’.

‘Man is not an Island’ ~ but with others must live,
He shouldn’t survive alone,
He needs friends and family around,
To have a healthy home.

Peace and stability make a good world,
Free from War, and Evil, and Pain,
We must strive Together to make it Safe,
So future Generations can gain.

Have we not learned from mistakes of the past?
Human Nature is not without faults,
But must we repeat them, again and again?
Why must we be Idiots and Dolts?
