On life's journey
We're at this moment
When we ponder over
A thing called love

As complex as it seems
We decipher its meaning
As we gain experience
We contemplate its beginning

Love is meaningless
If we do not know

It's a life long process,
A much valuable prize
Once you accept it
Life takes on new beginnings
As we promise
To love him or her
We take a vow that should
Never again occur

For a lifetime
It's meant to be
An affirmation of our love.
