An Alphabetic Poem

A budding Poet am I,
B lessed with words from On High,
C reative when able,
D ependable and stable,
E rudite and discerning, say I.
F irst come the words to my mind,
G enerally they all flow and flow,
H eaven has sent them,
I do not invent them,
J ust write them down real slow.
K ind and loving words abound,
L ines come and go, around and around,
M any are the times, when my words do not rhyme
N ot now, but at the other times.
O pen my Mind to HIS thoughts,
P ray HE will answer my wish,
Q uery the spellings before writing down,
R ushing will not complete this.
S avour the words of this poem,
T ry to make lines rhyme and rhyme,
U ntil the completion, without
V exation or tribulations, or
W orries of what will come next.
X -cuse the end to this poem,
Y ell out to all that it is O.K.
Z is the end of this poem that began with 'A'.
