An angel came to me today.
she said she came to hear what i had to say.

I asked 'why'd i have to let her go? '
the angel replied 'it was about learning things you needed to know'

An angel once said that god doesnt take your loved ones to see you cry,
he takes them because its their turn to spread their wings and fly.

I told her all the secrets i've kept,
she wiped my tears and watched over me as i slept.

When i woke up she said 'when its your time to travel alone,
ill be there to welcome you home'
