An Angel May Be Weeping Poem by Mel Merrill

An Angel May Be Weeping

An angel may be weeping
For I felt a tear- or two,
But the clouds they do conceal her
Hidden safely from my view.

How I wish that I could hold her
Gently wiping every tear-
Then the clouds would surely open
And the sky would surely clear!
