**an Apology Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

**an Apology

Rating: 3.0

What if a heart so pure
Thou set for the confessions
Hast the love in thy heart rusted
The pride in thyself shall the moment
When you so humble depart
Like a book open is thy heart
Like moon the solace of lovers

Art thou the thunder of hell
Hast thou been bestowed
For the human to act in cruelty
Dust is all whether thine or else
Whence dust to dust why worrieth thou
Touch the feet of the diety in tear
With both hands together in apology
