An Army Vet



An army vet

He was taught to use gun
As soldier went to fight
That was what he had loved
Both in heart and in mind.

Time came for the ISIS in Iraq
Went there and returned vet
A hero, respected by people.

Could not then stay home
Or go work nine to five.

His best way, easiest game of gun
If not killed can return and bluff
"This is how…"

That happened; now he talks
He wrote book "One Soldier".

His book will soon become a fine base
For class to be taught by teachers:
"This is how…"
And it is half-truth, meaning lie.

He was like screw in a gun
Triggered the bullet, never saw
The depths of social life
And the need of people except how
They became desperate for peace, calm.

The best way to see core my dear
Is to take some time off
Check archive and "Rewind"
Governments inflate-deflate characters
They issue the permits and orders
Support some, arrest some and take side.
Unlike then and the time of Fascists
Now is time for fighting the ISIS
He is back and appraised
Then they were ignored and deleted
