An Eagle Without A Parachute Poem by Ulysses Cabinatan

An Eagle Without A Parachute

An eagle without a parachute
free to roam the sky
free to roam the earth

An eagle in the wild
bushed on finding its next prey
and there are days it is exhausted of finding none
breathes better
than a well-fed eagle on a caged zoo
