An Earth Cremated Poem by Gianni Pansensoy

An Earth Cremated

Beneath the blistering sun's blaze,
magnifies an unusual visible haze,
every crest is a molten facial glaze,
and appears a waving surface to gaze.

All around is a purpled monochromatic,
sun's beam's velocity seems semi-sonic,
temperature's rising like a disease that's chronic,
the wind's hotter, dehydrating, hallucinogenic.

The oceans are warming,
into dead seas they're converting,
their waters are fast evaporating, salinating,
and the dolphins in the depths are dying.

breath! The air is gas fumigated, breeze is fouled,
hearth is the lake of tilapias, its water is diesel fueled,
death for the fishes for every barge hauled, gas emitted,
Earth: Polluted: Death: Cremated
