An Evening Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

An Evening

Rating: 3.5

In late afternoon and before the night
I played the lessons in music awhile
Forced my mind to fancy the beautiful
Create a rhythm of fingers and strings

I changed for the walk when I felt
In my tight shirts with a wire hanging
From my ear to the FM to listen songs
The voice of the girl that spoke as if

To me alone converged the universe
Followed a man who was driving a cart
His child in amusement for the evening
Green patch behind the bars antelopes
Encaged for view of the passers by

Houses were lit with open doors
As I tiresomely to my place back
What stories shall be in the streets here
Some love and music when cars prepare
For the evening race in this beautiful town

music can make the sad heart into a happy one..music can change the mood of an individual..i think this poem is a story of a fiesta? or A SERENADE OR A STAGE SHOW PRESENTATION? ..the presentation is very good..it makes the readers think what's inside the poem...naizz
