An Illusion Poem by Heather Burns

An Illusion

Rating: 4.0

As a mist gathers
on the ocean
the sun warms
you blush.

A tide sweeps in
hitting the shore
your face in the
waves.

The sun brightly
shines
in the heat, you
melt.

A breeze grabs a
leaf
whirls it away
you fly.

A violent storm
gathers the clouds
you float.

Very nice. A tide sweeps in/ hitting the shore/ your face in the waves. - Takes me back to a childhood moment.

Like the lilting strains of a melody, like the cool touch of a passing breeze, this small poem refreshes and enlivens!

illusion is connected with nature. sometimes illusions are scary as the storm..sometimes it is pleasant.. Nice to read..
