An Illusion At Midnight! Poem by Vadakkumpurath Ramesan

An Illusion At Midnight!

The cosmic rays sprayed
On him as surging waves
When his internal scrimmage
Tempted him with grotesque
He lost the poignant paces
With unabated exasperation
Captivating his revered feelings
To his lady love
Who estranged him on moving
To the enemy camp in compulsion.
He with his Aura beaming
And bright to melt pelting bullets
Moved with a lady-help
Whom he never loved
Nor did he like clandestinely
But he took her to accomplish
The mission assigned
To perish the enemy hideouts!
He was left alone
As the lady-help was ransacked
To the enemy camp
By his lady love
Who lost sight in vengeance
To do away with his lady-help
But he with his amazing steps
Peeped into the chamber of incarceration
Where he shot his lady loved
To be finished by uttering:
She was my part!
As he moved to live,
The liberated lady-help
Yearned for his love
That he rejected outright.
As she made advances
He prevented her and told
I will never return
Nor can I remember you
As his mission is over.
The lady-help lost everything
Pleaded for a moment
That he allowed willingly.
Her violent kiss swallowed
His lips for a moment
And he got out of the grip
And disappeared into
Bright particles!
