An Innocent Blood Poem by Kinyua Karanja

An Innocent Blood

Rating: 3.0

Could we play with tongues of fire
And avoid that flying dry saliva
No, may be just a magical desire
To change ordinary stones to silva
For sure nobody gets away with an evil
Though he may escape the jail
His whole heart will alway upheaval
For a crime committed never heal
Until the justice is done and served
The story of Abel and Cain shows clear
From the soil the innocent blood cried
God heard and rose to it's vengeance
As juctice was served for that soul
Cain learnt this in black and white
And every Cain should know too.
