An Old Film Poem by David Harris

An Old Film

Rating: 5.0

Your watching an old film
that you have seen before,
then suddenly the faces appear there
of those who watched it with you,
a long tome ago.
Some are gone on to that long sleep,
never to return no more.
Others have moved away,
where to, you cannot say.
Only that they are gone.
You sit there and wonder
when they watch that old film,
if they get the same feeling as you,
and see the same faces you do.

I wonder David, of course some may no longer be with us here on earth, but if they are I wonder if they think of us. I like this little treasure David.--Melvina--

It gets frightening watching old films when you realize that how many friends and family are no longer with us.. thoughts of mortality 10
