An Old Friend, Jackson, Dog Of Dogs Poem by Terence George Craddock

An Old Friend, Jackson, Dog Of Dogs

Rating: 5.0

Eric had shock sad written
'My old friend, Jackson, dog of dogs,
passed peacefully this morning.'
the pain the pathos was biting
shock stunning frightening...
old dogs never die,
they live on for decades
in our memories;

like people they live on in hearts we leave behind;
to live on in hearts we leave behind is not to die;
but this is the raw time of loss suffering I will be thinking...
of you Eric; and feeling for you remembering; your loss;
for days over the next few weeks; from time to time for months;
Jackson is not dead, Jackson lives eternally, in memories;
