An Old Man Is A Tired Man Poem by Shalom Freedman

An Old Man Is A Tired Man

AN OLD MAN IS A TIRED MAN

An old man is a tired man
His song is a quiet song
He walks slowly
Wherever he goes.

Yet the Night he walks into says to him,
‘There is Light here too’
And the Relief a Breeze may give
After too sunstrong days.
